Camera Info

The ThriftyCam utilizes the OMNIVISION OG02B1B B&W CMOS 2 Megapixel (1600x1304) Image Sensor with OmniPixel®3-GS Technology. At full resolution, the camera will present 60 frames per second.

For maximum performance, we recommend using it with a USB 3.0 or higher port on a coprocessor such as an Orange Pi 5 or a Jetson Orion module.

Lens Kit Extended Info

The first batch of lens kits shipped did not have the angles labeled. Batches shipping after 12/12/2024 will have labeled bags for each lens. To distinguish between lenses without trial and error, please use the guide below:

The quickest way to distinguish between lenses is to measure the carrier the lens comes in. This measurement would be measured between the base of the carrier (side attached to PCB) to the edge of where the threads are.

These measurements are:

92º - 0.26 inches 80º - 0.46 inches 65º - 0.44 inches 40º - 0.48 inches
